Newton Transportation has a modern, state-of-the-art facility in Hudson, North Carolina. Our company does not operate satellite terminals. Our daily operations include pick-ups at the manufacturers docks and then bringing freight directly to our corporate terminal. This procedure allows for expedient shipping in a controlled environment and eliminates excessive handling, which may result in loss or damage of freight. By operating from a single terminal, we can closely monitor service and costs to offer the best transportation program to our customers.

Each employee, from pick up driver to warehouse to mechanic to long haul driver, is thoroughly trained in all areas of safety, both personal and property. We constantly evaluate our performance to ensure that employees operate in a safe manner and handle your merchandise in a professional manner. Newton Transportation holds quarterly meetings with all drivers to review procedures and address any problems which may arise in the daily business environment. We take pride in the fact that our company consistently receives Satisfactory Safety Ratings from the Department of Transportation.
